Event Facilities
Villa Sayang d’Amour provides the picture-perfect setting for sophisticated gatherings around the 20-meter swimming pool, along with elegant moonlit dinners or fabulously chic rooftop parties. It also provides wonderfully intimate spaces for private repose and relaxation.
Kitchen and Bar
The villa kitchen is not available for event use, however satellite kitchens can be set up to the side of the main house, near the staff quarters, with easy access to the villa’s car park. There is no bar available for event use so caterers will need to supply their own freestanding bar, which is to be positioned on the paved area surrounding the pool.
Guest Washrooms
There are two guest washrooms; one is located by the media room (beside the living room), and another is in the garden, near the pool. The ensuite bathrooms of the bedrooms are not recommended for public use and bedrooms should be kept locked during an event. The EO is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the villa’s washrooms during events.
Parking
The parking area is to be kept free for guests’ arrivals and departures (drop off and pick up only). This means that there is no parking on site for EOs or suppliers. Vehicles are permitted for a one-hour period for loading but should be off site at least one hour prior to the event. Guests should be encouraged to use drivers or taxis for events at Villa Sayang d’Amour.
Regulations and Restrictions
The living room is not to be used as an event space.
The furniture in this room cannot be moved and no external infrastructure should be brought into the living room.
The deck between the living room and the garden is ideal for welcome drinks.
No staging is permitted over the pool.
Floating bamboo and foam structures for candles and flowers are allowed, however, EOs should ensure their removal by 1am or as soon as guests enter the pool in order to avoid any damage or injury.
Marquees must be freestanding. Flooring is allowed but we request that this is done on the day of the event itself to limit potential damage to the grass.
Fireworks and/or the release of Thai wishing lanterns are strictly forbidden.
Music: The villa is located in a residential area and as such we require EOs to plan accordingly and follow the villa manager’s instructions at all times in regards to music volume and noise curfew. Acoustic bands and iPod music are the preferable forms of entertainment for this property.
