The spacious grounds offer freedom and flexibility for both families and large groups sharing, with hammocks and sun loungers arranged around the 25m x 5m pool and a pool pavilion seating up to 15 people. Inside, as well as the living and dining spaces, there are two well-equipped entertainment rooms, a gym and a children’s playroom. French doors from all of Villa San’s six large bedrooms – three king bedded and three twins – look out over tranquil gardens, only steps away from the long sloping lawn and the inviting pool.
Guests at Villa San are spoiled for choice when it comes to ways to relax. Reflecting the owners’ artistic and spiritual leanings, there’s the loft studio for painting, a telescope for star-gazing from the function room at night, and a Buddhist stupa and yoga terrace tucked in a quiet corner of the property for group or individual meditation and yoga practice.
A friendly, helpful team of staff are on hand around the clock, with a butler and chef available to meet every request. They are knowledgeable about the local Hindu culture, art galleries and the many options for exploring and learning about the region and will recommend the best of local restaurants, cafés and spas.

THE ROOMS
Villa San’s six spacious bedrooms all feature large, luxuriously comfortable beds dressed in fine white linen and with plump feather-filled pillows. Exquisite hand-crafted bed runners from Africa and Indonesia add the finishing touch. Fine artworks and more carefully selected handicrafts grace the walls. Each room is equipped with ceiling fans, air conditioners and iPod docks and furnished with a desk, bedside tables and reading lights.
Villa San’s master suite, comprises two very generous sized bedrooms (two king–bedded, one of which is convertible to twin) separated by a similarly large and comfortable family room, with three inviting sofas and a state-of-the-art home entertainment system. The well-appointed ensuite bathrooms, accessed through large dressing rooms with floor-to-ceiling mirrors, are full of light from windows facing onto gardens on two sides.
In separate buildings around the main living pavilion, eight more adults can be accommodated in two king-size bedrooms and two twin bedrooms (convertible to king), each with ensuite bathrooms featuring large tubs and showers. Two extra beds are available on request.

Event Space
Blessing ceremonies often take place on the lower lawn near the Buddhist temple. A sit-down luncheon or dinner in a marquee can be set up on the spacious lawns adjacent to the pool.
Event Facilities
Kitchen and Bar
The kitchen in the villa is small but can cater to the maximum capacity of guests permitted for an event. There is no area for a satellite kitchen in the car park or out of site of the guests. Freestanding bars should be set up on the lawn or on the paved area by the pool.
Guest Washrooms
There is one washroom on the ground floor, accessed via the media room, and another on the first floor by the meeting room. The EO is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of these washrooms during events.
Meeting Room
The villa has a well-equipped meeting room on the first floor, which is ideal for workshops. Parking There is no parking on-site and both the entrance to the villa and the road leading into it are narrow. Instead, guests could use the public car park opposite Villa San.
The entrance to the villa is shared with our neighbors; EOs and suppliers need to be mindful of this. Guests should be encouraged to use drivers or taxis for events at Villa San.
Regulations and Restrictions
The open living room is available for welcome drinks but may not be used as a main event space. Furniture can be moved if necessary but not removed. Staging is permitted over the pool, however, a site plan must be submitted a minimum of 45 days prior for approval.
Floating bamboo and foam structures for candles and flowers are allowed, however, EOs should ensure their removal by 1am or as soon as guests enter the pool in order to avoid any damage or injury. Fireworks and/or the release of Thai wishing lanterns are strictly forbidden.
Due to the villa’s residential location, no bands or DJs are permitted. Music can be played through the external sound system from an iPod until 11pm sharp. Afterwards, music may be played through the in-house system at a level agreed upon by the villa manager.
