MASTER SUITE
The impressive air-conditioned master suite is housed in its own pavilion separated from the living and dining area and the kitchen by fish ponds and frangipani trees garlanded with orchids. Stepping stones lead to a set of carved wooden doors that open to present a welcoming Buddha statue and private Palimanan stone terrace.
Glass doors reveal the suite’s TV lounge furnished with two gray-silk sofas and floor cushions for watching movies on the large flat-screen satellite TV with DVD player. Adjacent to the lounge, a small reading room enclosed by glass appears to float above a fishpond, offering glimpses of the swimming pool through an opening in the surrounding coral-limestone wall.
The bedroom itself, with its vaulted ceiling, dark teak floors, king-size bed and glass sliding doors, opens onto a private deck overlooking lawns dotted with coconut palms, and through to the crashing waves in the distance. A huge dressing area divides the bedroom from the semi-open ensuite bathroom featuring a large rectangular terrazzo bathtub, his and her vanities and walk-in rain shower. White shutters open onto a private garden bathroom with an outdoor shower encircled by six stone pillars and soft maiden-hair ferns.
GUEST BEDROOMS 1 & 2
The brightly decorated air-conditioned guest rooms, located in a separate structure adjacent to the dining area, have been designed for children but can easily accommodate adults. One of the rooms has a queen-size bed with large flat-screen satellite TV and DVD player, while the other has twin beds and a small outdoor balcony surrounded by a lily pond.
A corridor with built-in wardrobes connects the two rooms as well as providing access to the shared bathroom. Featuring gray slate walls and floors, with an indoor terrazzo bathtub and walk-in shower, the bathroom also has an outdoor shower with a cascading water-wall feature. Both rooms open onto a shared wooden deck with a daybed for relaxing.
GUEST HOUSE ROOM 1 & 2
Fifty meters from the main house rests Villa Samadhana’s two-bedroom guesthouse with its traditional alang-alang roof. Light and airy with cream walls and teak floors, both air-conditioned rooms feature queen-sized beds with batik throws, garden bathrooms with indoor shower and glass sliding doors that open onto a wooden deck bordering the immaculately manicured lawns.
One of the bedrooms has a window seat to soak up the sun while the other has a daybed for those inclined to take an afternoon nap. Between the two bedrooms is a small living area with a self-contained kitchen and breakfast bar with bar stools.

Event Space

Take your pick from an open air event under the stars amongst the perfectly manicured lawns framed by mature trees and exotic flowers or a more intimate lantern-lit affair under the thatched entertainment pavilion overlooking the swimming pool.

Kitchen and Bar
There is a fully equipped wet kitchen next to the villa’s main kitchen. Caterers can use its facilities however no stoves are available. There is a covered staff entrance in case of rain. There is also plenty of space in the main kitchen that can be used to place dishes. The pool bar may be used and the space next to it may be utilized by caterers.
Guest Washrooms
There are two guest washrooms available for use during events. The EO is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of these washrooms during events.
Parking
The parking area is to be kept free for guests’ arrivals and departures (drop off and pick up only). This means that there is no parking on site for EOs or suppliers. Vehicles are permitted for a one-hour period for loading but should be off site at least one hour prior to the event. Guests should be encouraged to use drivers or taxis for events at Villa Samadhana.
Regulations and Restrictions
The coconut garden by the master suite is the most suitable location for a ceremony. The living room is an ideal place for welcome drinks, however this may not be considered as event space. The furniture can’t be moved or removed and MUST not be considered as a back up area for wet weather.
The lawn after villa’s entrance will be a perfect spot for the dinner reception while cocktails can take place by the pool area or inside the pool bale, however NO furniture in the pool bale being moved or removed.
Staging is permitted over the pool, however, a site plan must be submitted a minimum of 45 days prior for approval.
Floating bamboo and foam structures for candles and flowers are allowed, however, EOs should ensure their removal by 1am or as soon as guests enter the pool in order to avoid any damage or injury. Fireworks, balloon release, Thai wishing lanterns, and confetti papers are strictly forbidden
