The wild black sand beach is just 300 meters away, and rice fields unfurl uninterrupted from the villa garden to the ocean edge.
Created for the owner’s personal use, Villa Bangkuang has emerged fresh from an extensive 2021 remodeling by noted designers of Grand Hyatt fame. The result is a skilful blend of contemporary and traditional: vaulted alang-alang thatched pavilions with thoroughly modern interiors of tropical woods and marble filled with both custom-built and antique furniture. There’s breathing space for up to 8 adults and 3 kids, with multiple living and lounging areas looking over the enormous 17-meter pool. With three bedrooms in the main sleeping pavilion and two at the rice-field edge, this villa is particularly suitable for multi-generational families, two or three families holidaying together, or even a group of friends.
How to spend your days in this beach haven? Start with breakfast served by the villa’s attentive staff, Sprawl on the oversized daybed on the enormous deck, cool off in the pool, take coffee in the garden gazebo, work up a sweat in the villa gym, get a massage in the dedicated spa room, and then gather for cocktails on the rooftop terrace as the sun sets over the sea. Event Facilities The back garden is perfect for solemnization ceremonies. Picture a wedding arch with rice paddy views and even a partial ocean view as the background. Receptions can be organized in the garden around the swimming pool. If you have a party with a DJ or bar set up, it can be planned on the deck near the living room.

Kitchen and Bar
There is a designated satellite kitchen with a sink available at the villa for the caterer’s use. It is the caterer’s responsibility to ensure cleanliness after using the space. There is no bar available at the villa for event use, therefore caterers will need to supply freestanding bars and set them up in the deck area. Mats must be used to protect the surface during such installations.
Guest Washrooms
There is one guest washroom available for events near the villa’s living area. It is the responsibility of the EO to ensure the cleanliness of the washrooms during events.
Parking
The parking area is to be kept free for guests’ arrival and departure (drop-off and pick-up only). This means that there is no parking on site for EOs or suppliers. Vehicles are permitted for a one-hour period for loading but should be off-site at least one hour prior to the event. Guests should be encouraged to use drivers or taxis for events at Villa Bangkuang.
Regulations and Restrictions
Living and dining rooms are not available for events. The furniture here must not be moved or removed. Marquees must be freestanding. Artificial flooring is allowed but should be done on the day of the event to limit damage to the grass.
Alternatively the dance floor may be built in the lawn and it must have a raised platform to minimize damage to the grass. This should be set up on the day of the event. Floating bamboo and foam structures for candles and flowers are permitted, however they should be removed by the EO by 1am or as soon as guests enter the pool in order to avoid any damage or injury.
Fireworks, balloon release, confetti bombs, and Thai wishing lanterns are strictly forbidden. No staging is to be built in or over the pool.
