Four-bedroomed Villa Avalon I is the largest of three independent properties on the grand Avalon Estate, designed by award-winning Bali architect, Popo Danes. When rented as a whole, the Villa Avalon Estate offers seven spacious bedrooms and makes a paradisiacal wedding venue.
It’s rare to find such a well-established villa only 50m from the beach and yet just a few minutes’ drive from downtown Seminyak. It is a great option for groups looking to be in the thick of action, with the beach on one side and numerous clubs, restaurants and boutiques on the other.
From a traditional gateway, steps lead up to Villa Avalon I’s open-sided living room, which is housed in one of three interconnected pavilions that fan out around the 14-meter swimming pool. This upper level living room is an elegant ceiling fan-cooled space consisting of a large seating area and a games corner, complete with pool table. Downstairs is a dining room, where up to 14 guests can enjoy meals at the three-meter table. A media room offers air-conditioned comfort for movie watching, catching up on emails or simply having a quiet read. Outside, the antique poolside joglo creates a living space in harmony with surrounding nature, and an alfresco dining table under a cool canopy provides an informal area for convivial meals.
All four of Villa Avalon’s air-conditioned ensuite bedrooms provide sumptuous sleeping spaces, and each has a sitting area with a TV and a DVD player. The two palatial master suites are furnished with four-poster king-size beds resting on polished teakwood floors. The glamor continues into the air-conditioned bathrooms, which feature statement bathtubs as well as rain showers and huge walk-in wardrobes. Both master suites open onto shaded furnished terraces.
A pair of air-conditioned guest suites occupy the second sleeping pavilion, both furnished with queen-size beds. The ground floor suite opens onto the garden while the upper room features a spacious garden-view terrace. Both ensuite bathrooms are fitted with rain showers and walk-in wardrobes, and there’s a second shower and a bathtub in a small courtyard attached to the ground floor room.
Efficient and friendly staff (including a competent chef) work discreetly in the background to provide stellar service from morning until night.

Event Space
The upper-level living pavilion is an elegant open-sided fan space which makes an ideal area to welcome guests to the property. It is perfect for serving canapes and welcome drinks but should not be used as an event space. The lawns are best utilized for ceremony and dinner reception. A beautiful garden joglo can also be used as the ceremony spot; the furniture here can be removed to create space for the groom, bride and their celebrant
Event Facilities
Kitchen and Bar
The main kitchen in Avalon I is not designed for event use; therefore a satellite kitchen must be set up in the parking area. There is also no bar available for events but caterers may set up free standing bars on the lawn or in the deck area surrounding the swimming pool.
Guest Washrooms
There is one guest washroom next to the dining; for larger groups we suggest that 1 x bedroom toilet becomes available. It is the responsibility of the EO’s to supervise the cleanliness of these toilets during the course of the event and the guest to ensure belongings in the bedrooms that remain open are stored safely
Parking
There is no parking on site for EOs or suppliers and the access is quite narrow. Vehicles are permitted for one hour period for loading but should be off site at least one hour prior to the event. Guests should be encouraged to use drivers or taxis for events at Avalon Villa.
Regulations and Restrictions
Fireworks and/or Thai wishing lanterns are strictly forbidden. Marquees are allowed however these must be free standing. Due to the residential are where the villa is located, live bands are not allowed and the curfew for all music is 11 pm.
No staging is to be built into or over the pool. Floating bamboo and foam structures for candles and flowers are permitted however they should be removed by the EO by 1am or as soon as guests enter the pool in order to avoid any damage to the pool
