Event Space

Most events will take place in their pool deck area including welcome area, cocktail, ceremony, and dinner area. Therefore, it’s essential for the EO’s to plan the set up in advance to ensure a smooth flow on the day.

Kitchen and Bar 

The villa’s kitchen must not be used during an event. Caterers can set up a satellite kitchen in the outdoor shower area and set up a 3×6 meters tent to cover the area. A tent must be arranged by the caterer/EO to cover the area. Cooking preparation and plating can be done in the villa’s BBQ area, a partition must be used to screen off this area. We urge the catering to do an inspection prior to the wedding to plan the set up on the day. Free-standing bars can be set up in the paved area or pool deck area and must use a mat to protect the surfaces.

Guest Washrooms 

There is one guest’s washroom in the living room. It is the responsibility of the EO to ensure the cleanliness of the washrooms during the events

Parking 

The parking area is to be kept free for guests’ arrival and departure (drop-off and pick-up only). This means that there is no parking on site for EOs or suppliers but little parking space available for the wedding guests at the estate’s entrance where we share the space with other residential guests within the estate. Vehicles are permitted for a one-hour period for loading but should be off-site at least one hour prior to the event. Guests should be encouraged to use drivers or taxis for events at Grand Cliff Nusa Dua.

The main living room and dining room area must not be used as an event space. The furniture can’t be removed or moved. A dance floor may be built in the paved area/lawn but it must have a raised platform to minimize damage to the grass and need to be set up on the day of the event. Or pool deck area can be another option. 

Staging is permitted over the pool, however, a site plan must be submitted a minimum of 45 days prior for approval, and only approved vendors are allowed (please contact our event team for some suggestions). A refundable security deposit of US$ 2,000 (cash) applies for having a floating stage set up. 

Floating bamboo and foam structures for candles and flowers are permitted however they should be removed by the EO by 1 am or as soon as guests enter the pool in order to avoid any damage or injury. Fireworks, balloon release, and Thai wishing lanterns are strictly forbidden. 

As the villa is in a residential area, therefore a strict music curfew at 11 pm applies for all music.

External genset max 30 kva must be arranged from outside and must use a small truck (L300 type) due to limited parking space available. There are designated parking spaces for the genset and the vendor must provide +/- 15 meters cable to reach the venue area.
