Architectural genius Sonny Chan collaborated with interior design guru Albano Daminato to fashion a five-bedroom residence with a stand-alone gym and spa plus a game changing entertainment bale overlooking the Indian Ocean. With the ocean just meters away and a shimmering 20-meter salt-water pool by its side, this open pavilion is the last word in outdoor dining and your private chef is ever on hand to produce the ultimate gourmet feasts. In the main house bedrooms have gorgeous sculptural terrazzo walls and clean lines that contrast with stylish canopied beds and sitting areas. Timber walls are closets keeping the minimal tone sharp. Two bedrooms have mesmerizing ocean views from their freestanding baths set before huge bay windows while a further two bedrooms also enjoy fantastic sea views.
Families and sports fiends will adore the private tennis court with its ball machine and huge racket selection, pool, gym, spa and perfectly placed yoga platforms to catch the sunrise and watch over the Hindu rituals at a nearby fisherman’s temple. OCEAN SUITES
Two mirror-image bedrooms lie at the top of the main building, with their own terraces and a refreshingly simple design. Wardrobes are walk-in and the bathtub is stand-alone and set in front of huge windows that maximize the views. The beds create a canopied boudoir. Music wafts from Bose ceiling speakers and the TV is neatly concealed behind sleek fitted units. A comfortable sitting area is furnished with a custom-made sofa and desk and every outlook is enhanced by the seductive seascape.
COURTYARD SUITE
Spilling out onto the green lawn, lotus ponds and family temple, this suite is tucked into a pretty garden and offers direct access to the gym and spa. Although similar to the bedrooms above in most respects, this room also has a pull-down single bed in place of a desk making it ideal for families with a toddler, or for three older kids to share.

From its immaculate lawns to its show stopping oceanview balé, Arnalaya Beach House is an exceptional venue for weddings, retreats and family gatherings, and provides the perfect canvas for the design of a unique event and the creation of lasting memories. For smaller groups, the villa’s sunset deck provides a stunning cocktail venue and the back courtyard is an intimate dinner location.
Event Facilities
Kitchen and Bar
The villa’s kitchen is not to be used for an event. Caterers should set up a satellite kitchen by the pool balé, in the lower garden and must use a partition to screen off the area. The bar in the pool balé is available for events; for larger events, freestanding bars can be set up around the lawns. We kindly ask catering companies to protect the surface with mats to minimize damage to the grass.
Guest Washrooms
There are three bathrooms available for event guests. One is located in the dining room, another is below the pool balé, and if necessary, a third can be made available in the gym. It is the responsibility of the EO to ensure the cleanliness of the bathrooms during events.
Parking
The parking area is to be kept free for guests’ arrival and departure. This means that there is no parking on site for EO’s or suppliers. Vehicles are permitted for a one-hour period for loading and unloading but should be off-site at least one hour prior to the event.
Regulation & Restriction
The main living and dining room can be used for welcome drinks but should not be used as main event spaces. The furniture in these two areas should not be moved or removed and no additional infrastructure should be brought into these areas.
Bedrooms are for the use of resident guests only and we recommend these to be locked during the course of any given event. Smoking is not permitted inside the house.
Marquees must be freestanding.
Staging over the pool is not permitted. Floating bamboo and foam structures for candles and flowers are permitted however they should be removed by the EO by 1am or as soon as guests enter the pool in order to avoid any damage or injury.
